What is Ender?
Ender is the AI assistant built into Videoscriber Plus. It learns from every meeting you upload, so you can ask questions across your whole library — "what did we decide about pricing?", "which clients mentioned onboarding?" — and get answers with citations back to the exact moment in the recording.
Does it work with Zoom and Google Meet?
Yes. Download your Zoom Cloud Recording or Google Meet MP4 and drop it into Videoscriber — everything works today. Direct import (so you skip the download step) is in development; email us if you want early access.
Do you train AI on my content?
No, ever. We don't use your recordings, transcripts, or summaries to train any AI — ours or anyone else's. This is written into our privacy policy and into our contracts with OpenAI and AssemblyAI.
How long do you keep my files?
Uploaded audio and video files auto-delete after 90 days. Transcripts and summaries stay until you delete them or close your account. You can export or delete anything, anytime.
What if I want to run it myself?
The desktop app is free and open source. You bring your own OpenAI and AssemblyAI keys, and everything stays on your machine. You can turn on cloud backup if you want — it's off by default.
Does it work in other languages?
Transcription works in about 50 languages (whatever OpenAI Whisper supports). Summaries work best in English for now. Tell us what language you need if you want us to prioritize it.
How much does it cost?
Free to start while we're in beta. We'll publish clear pricing before beta ends — expect a generous free tier and no per-seat fees. The desktop app is and always will be free.
How long can the recording be?
From a few seconds up to 1 GB per file — that's roughly 8 hours of audio or 90 minutes of 1080p video.
Can I connect it to my other tools?
The cloud app has a REST API for pulling transcripts and summaries. The desktop app supports custom plug-ins. Webhooks and direct integrations are coming.
